It's a highly powersaving feature I just made up.
Another powersaving idea: "remove the back so the battery can fall out" saves even more power. :P

But seriously it's a cool suggestion, you better post it in the suggestion forum instead.

Just wondering can we publish songs from the beta.... and It may just be my phone but when you are recording, it clicks to let you know when to start and how to stay in rhythm, you should atomatically hear the click in the head phones... Well i have to pull my head phones out of my phone and put them back in before I can hear the clicking.... My phones work well with everything else so i figured it may be my app... it just started doing it on the old version and still doesn't let me with this beta. Also i cant play or download any thing from the first uloops screen. Its been that way for a while, if I select play a song it wont, or download it does nothing....

Maybe there is a corruption in the Uloops folder on your SD. You could uninstall, then erase the Uloops folder.

Tried it out and liked it. I doubt I'll go back just yet as it's pretty close to release... I hope...

I didn't have any problems on my Droid X with Android 2.2 installed. I like the vibration metronome and it doesn't seem to pick up at all on the mic... even with headphones on I sometimes get the metronome tick fairly audible in the recording. The drag feature is cool but not as easy when I just one a length of 1. Makes me think I need a stylus. The sounds are awesome and well organized (save for a few typos). I love the junk type drums added. (I'd love to have a couple of glitch kits), might just be me but the recorded sounds sound a lot better. All in all, I can't wait for the official release.

I do wish you could set the time signature or at least how many measures in a loop (not enforced to 4)... but you have limits set on loops so I can understand why... for now.

I would also like the option to turn off vibration and sound on the recorder.

We're glad to hear you're liking so far.
We've moved the release date. Next week we'll release another beta with more instruments and drumsets, and some other visual enhancements. The final release will be in two weeks from now

Thanks for all the feedback!

wiggle your finger a little bit to get notes with a length of one.

wiggling = dragging = creating note of dragged length.
tapping = clicking = inserting note of previous length.

since both functions are handy (create by dragging, insert previous length by clicking) i suggested to solve this problem by bringing back the old note-length GUI. This way, you don't necesarily have to wiggle, you can adjust it with the GUI to length one.
