Sampler File Chooser

Hi. There're two ways of import a sound sampler file within the app:
  • Open a regular file-picker dialog. Browsing your SDCard folders and selecting files(old-style, you can't search artist-track name)
  • Open your music library (plain catalog that reads your music files tags, you can search by author/name)

Which do you think is best to upload samples to Pocketband?

I think the first would work just fine. It sounds to me like the second option may be more involved for you. Plus, if I want to know what sample I have on my phone, wouldn't be MY responsibility to rename the file? Yeah, it would be. If you can't find your own files on your phone, shame on you.

That's how I see it. (Or, for you Gleeks, that's how Sue "C's" it!)

I agree, the first way seems better to me. That way I can make a seperate folder in my SD card strictly for samples to import.

Although that way might be frustrating for those with little patience. If we dl samples directly from a music site It's going to automatically put it in the music library, right?

But the first option will allow us to better organize the samples.

Either way is cool with me.

Yes, i do believe it would take it straight to the music library...but there is still a way to find those files while navigating the SD card. Besides, I don't plan on downloading someone else's samples...I want to make my own on FL Studio :P
