SAMPLER DOESNT WORK :-/

Okay so when i record, i can do 44zh WAV. easily, no prob. On the sampler...? Even the 8zh or whatever does NOT work, because it keeps saying invalid WAV., go lower and ***. Even when i do the lowest it doesnt work, and like i said, on the recorder it works like a charm. So, like, WHATS WRONG WITH MY SAMPLER.? :-/
P.S.:when i downloaded the update for the app, i had to try multiple times bc my phone was acting up. Could that be the cause..? And if so, is there a way that i can rectify this annoying issue..?
