rhythms other than 4?

Postby mrcloud » 29 Sep 2010, 11:38

Am I missing something, or is it really impossible to do rhythms like 3/4, 6/8, 5/8, 9/8 etc in uloops?

Don't go to fast, don't want to say these words that soon again: "I remember how simple Uloops used to be". :D

Its possible to create drums in different time signatures. You have enough loops now to wrap around back to one again. The synths are hard to work with though but its possible. Swing is a bit of a challenge. You just can't put 3/6 rolls in which is necessary.

To be honest I don't really know what signature its in but 1 doesnt start at the first of the next loop. I think it took five or six loops to get it back around to the beginning again. I would love to tell the song but I'm not finished with it yet. Look for it around the day b4 Halloween hint hint.

If my guess is correct then it could be 5/4. I love Halloween! Can't wait to hear your tune. :o
